Why time series for beginners?

The field known as time series data analysis is changing very quickly as a result of the large volume, velocity and variety of time series data produced by the Internet of Things and sensors. But the training of teachers in time series is lagging behind. This web site is an attempt to keep in one place access to the many aspects of time series analysis as they evolve, in order to provide some resources for beginners. Access to this web site is free and you are encouraged to contribute resources for undergraduate teaching and for practitioners that need to use time series.
